Ashanti Douglas, also known as Ashanti was is born in Glen Cove New York United States on October 13th 1980. She is an American singer as well as songwriter. The talent of Ashanti was discovered as a teen. She signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. That same year she appeared as a guest on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? The Fat Joe's What's Luv and Foolish? With Foolish and What's Luv as the top two songs She became the first female artist to be featured in two tracks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart top Ten from the United States. The song What's Luv! Here, we will celebrate with you her special birthday. Ashanti Douglas or Ashanti as she is more often referred to was born in Glen Cove New York in 1980. Tina Douglas was her mother as well as Ken Kaide Thomas Douglas had earlier had a voice. The Kenashia Shai Douglas family is their sister. She is the oldest of them all. Douglas was named Ashanti Douglas from Ghana following the Ashanti Empire. Women had immense power in the Ashanti Empire and Douglas was hoping that Ashantis would follow in the footsteps of those. After being approached by a number of record labels like Bad Boy or Jive, Ashanti had trouble finding success as an artist. Despite this she continued to sing throughout New York and began hanging around The Murder Inc. recording studio hoping to get a major break. Ashanti first appeared as the background singer for Big Pun on the song "How We Roll". Ashanti was also on Fat Joe's track What's Luv? Ja Rule's always punctual and Fat Jojo's What is Luv? also starred her. The first single from Ashanti, Foolish and Foolish, the DeBarge song Stay with Me that was recorded in 1983 is sung. Ashanti's self-titled first album was released in 2002 through Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. record label. The Declaration was Ashanti's fourth studio album that was released on 3 June 2008. On October 16 Hey Baby (After the Club) was made available to radio and digital outlets. The singer played Latasha in Army Wives and starred in the movie Christmas in the City. Aitch sampled Rock wit U in his Baby on March 10, 2022 song.
